Pulls In $4M to launch RFID Applications
BOSTON, MA— September 9, 2005 — TR3 Solutions,
an RFID applications provider for the CPG/Retail Market,
has raised $4M in Series A financing based on the founder's
track record of success. The founders prior venture,
TR2 Consulting, was acquired by Sterling Commerce, an
SBC company, in 2004. TR3 was found in early 2005, and
have just launched their initial set of products and
services. This round of financing was made up of private
investors. TR3 said the funds will be used to expand
their suite of RFID-based solutions and services targeted
at the CPG industry, augment the company's technology
infrastructure, and drive demand for the company's offerings
with increased sales and marketing efforts.
Manufacturers have looked to the TR3 team for more
than 15 years to help them solve their collaboration
needs, and RFID is the next opportunity where TR3 will
